# sign in

> sign in to the dripos Mac app with email or Google.

# sign in

Sign in from the first screen in dripos or from **Settings > Account**.

## options

* **Email**: enter your email, then enter the code sent to your inbox.
* **Google**: choose your Google account and finish the prompt.

When sign-in finishes, the browser returns you to the dripos Mac app.

## if sign-in does not return to the app

Try these in order:

1. Leave the browser window open and bring dripos to the front.
2. Click **Open dripos** if the browser asks.
3. Quit and reopen dripos, then try signing in again.
4. Install the latest dripos build from [Download for Mac](https://usedrip.ai/download/mac).

## sign out

Open **Settings > Account > Sign out**.

Signing out removes the saved app session. It does not delete local history already synced on your Mac.
